Apartment building Bahnhofstrasse
The appearance of the residential building on Bahnhofstrasse is characterised by Art Nouveau. The staircase with the eastern apartments dates from 1900. At the end of the 1940s, the residential building was expanded to include the western apartments. In the attic, two apartments were converted in 2023/2024 and the existing five apartments were renovated.

Interior fittings commercial unit
The interior work is still being done and is expected to be completed in autumn/winter 2026.
Ceilings and walls are plastered with a renovation plaster and painted twice. In the splash water area, the wet room is clad with earthenware slabs (Metro slabs). The floors are tiled with medium-format panels. In all rooms outside the wet room, an easy-care vinyl floor with cove strips will be laid. The new wooden interior doors and door frames will be painted twice. The existing PVC windows will be retained.

General
In the basement, the commercial unit is located a tenant's cellar assigned to it. The general washing and drying room in the basement is available to all tenants. A simple plug-in card system is used to charge the electricity consumption of the corresponding apartment. Also in the rental cellar is the consumption for light and socket. A general bicycle room in the basement can be reached from the south via a staircase via Waffenplatzstrasse.

Building services and sustainability
All electrical and plumbing installations will be renewed. The existing radiators will be repainted and supplemented with new radiators in some cases.
For reasons of sustainability, the house is currently still heated with heating oil (the end of its service life has not yet been reached). For reasons of monument preservation, no external insulation was applied to the façade during the renovation of the entire building in 2024. For this purpose, the entire roof surface was very well insulated with Swiss sheep's wool.
