Located to the west of Porrentruy, on the borders of the Ajoie, the caves of Réclère are among the most astonishing natural curiosities in Switzerland.
Discovered in 1886, the Caves of Réclère immediately struck the first visitors with their splendour to the point that, aware of their incredible riches, they began to be exploited in 1890
It is along a 1500-metre route that you will discover stalagmites and stalactites of rare beauty and diversity. Thus, you will be able to admire the elegant Pagoda, the enigmatic Portrait which reveals a face in profile and the Dome which, at 15 meters high, is the largest stalagmite discovered in Switzerland.

The 2 kilometres of the route, in a magnificent Jura forest, are punctuated by numerous informative panels that provide an educational complement to these reproductions made in accordance with the latest palaeontological knowledge.
A suspended walkway over the pond that is home to the impressive marine reptiles will give you the opportunity to play the balancing act.
A large observation tower will offer you a breathtaking view of the Doubs valley and its meanders.
