Das MEVM (Muggio Valley Ethnographic Museum) organisiert geführte Exkursionen, um die bemerkenswerte Landschaft des Muggiotals zu entdecken und die ethnografisch wertvollen Objekte zu zeigen, die im gesamten Gebiet verstreut sind: Nevère (Schneemühlen), Brücken, Mühlen, Blasen, Brunnen, Waschhäuser, Roccoli, Graa, Sostre und alpine Kerne.
Bei den Ausflügen können die Besucher auch die landwirtschaftlichen Betriebe der Region kennen lernen und ihre Produkte geniessen.

Das Haus ist mit dem Auto direkt erreichbar. In nächster Nähe befindet sich der grosse Parkplatz der Gemeinde. Mit dem Postauto gelangt man nach Mendrisio und Chiasso. Die Autobahn A2 ist rund 20 Fahrminuten entfernt. In Muggio gibt es einen Einkaufsladen und die Schulen sind in Lattecaldo.
