Im Sommer ist das Haus bis zur Haustür mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Schotterstraße führt vom Dorfplatz Mairengo 1.1 km hinauf zum Rustico. Im Winter bei viel Schnee kann das Auto im Dorf stehen gelassen werden und man kann mit dem Schneemobil oder mit Schneeschuhen zum Rustico gelangen. Die Autobahn A2 in Faido ist 5 km und in Quinto 7 km vom Haus entfernt. Lugnao und Locarno mit ihren Seen sind in einer Stunde zu erreichen. Von Mairengo aus gelangt man mit dem Postauto zum Bahnhof Faido mit Schnellzughalt der Gotthardbahn. In Faido sind auch viele Einkaufsgeschäfte.

In summer, the house is accessible by car to the front door. The gravel road leads from the village square of Mairengo for 1.1 km to the rustic house. In winter, when there is a lot of snow, the car can be left in the village and you can reach the Rustico by snowmobile or snowshoe. The A2 motorway in Faido is 5 km away and in Quinto 7 km from the house. Lugnao and Locarno with their lakes can be reached in an hour. From Mairengo you can take the postbus to the Faido railway station with the Gotthard express train stop. There are also many shops in Faido.
